The possibilities with Clever Association's Custom Installations are, quite literally, as wide as your imagination. We design systems that suit your life and aspirations. Which is why our first task is to conduct a Lifestyle Audit, to see how you live and to show you how technology could enhance the whole life experience for you and your family.
For instance, you may be heavily into the classics – and would like a hi-fi system that breathes beautiful music into every room through unseen loudspeakers – so that Haydn follows you wherever you go in the home.
Or perhaps you would like a home cinema experience, where the quality of the video and audio far exceed anything you've experienced at the local Odeon; where curtains close automatically, lights dim and the telephone switches to voicemail the moment you walk into the room.
At the same time, you wish to control all the lighting, heating, security systems, air conditioning, telephony and cctv in the house – and the illuminated fountain in the garden – via a simple touch screen panel.
No problem. Clever Association have carried out many such installations …and many more complex ones too. Clever Association design and install the wiring and IT networks, write the software, supply the very best equipment (audio/visual etc), show you how to operate the system – and can even change settings for you remotely via a web-based interface, designed to your very own requirements.
The backbone of any integrated home is an effective cabling infrastructure. At a central, hidden location is a bank of equipment along with patch panels that allows for complete flexibility in wiring and signal routing.
The infrastructure typically comprises network and signal cabling to carry information and media to devices throughout the house, to operate all equipment/telephone systems and to provide for any home networking/PC applications. Video and speaker cables will help integrate all audio and visual equipment (including home cinemas) as well as network cabling to control lighting, security, HVAC and other subsystems. Part of the infrastructure may involve wireless technology, which – as its name implies – allows devices to operate without wires. This is a particular benefit on renovation projects where wires cannot run behind plasterwork or under floors as they would on a 'new build' assignment.
